The DiMartino’s are a humble, down-to-earth, lively pairing. The beautiful couple met via family friends in December of 2019. Jesse worked with Leah’s brother-in-law (Kyle) who invited Jesse to church. The bride and groom met the very first Sunday Jesse attended and thus started their journey. The DiMartino’s dated for a year and two months before Jesse could no longer wait to propose to his beautiful (soon-to-be) bride. Overcome with love, the couple planned their wedding in three weeks.
One of the most treasured aspects of Jesse & Leah’s lives is their relationships with their families. With this in mind, they chose to keep the ceremony intimate with their innermost loved ones. The couple held the ceremony at a whimsical, rustic, stone house on a hidden preserve in the heart of Albuquerque. The structure speaks to the couple’s love for nature and value for modest design.
Leah and Jesse resolved that their theme was inspired by New Mexican culture, desert mountain-scapes, and their own unique style which they describe as being “organic and intimate”. The florals and the matching cake design stood out amongst the simply stunning details of the day. Leah met with the florist and began sharing her and Jesse’s story and untraditionally yet entirely creatively, left the delineation up to the designer’s creative interpretation.
To their surprise, the big day happened to be a snowy spring day. However, they noted that the glistening sprinkles created a more magical effect for their special occasion and “added to the beauty of the photos”. Jesse and Leah recounted that their experience with Lavel Marie Photography was more than just photographs, but that LMP was able to bring stability and a sense of ease to the day. Leah added “She’s so good at giving direction and taking such quality pictures. I would not have changed a thing.”
