My name is Lavel, and I am a professional photographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My passion for photography began in high school, where I served as the yearbook photographer. Starting with film, I learned the art of capturing moments and developing them in a darkroom. Over time, I transitioned to digital photography and have fully embraced its endless creative possibilities. The flexibility and precision of digital photography have captured my heart, and today, I exclusively shoot with digital cameras.

I believe a successful photography business is built on trust, hard work, education, creativity, a unique artistic vision, and plenty of caffeine. My artistic approach blends timeless elegance with a modern, dreamy aesthetic, allowing me to craft images that feel both authentic and beautiful. Whether capturing a wedding, engagement, or family session, I am dedicated to telling each client’s story in a way that feels personal and true to them.
